Minas Gerais, a Brazilian state of great historical importance, holds a significant place in the country's narrative due to its association with the Brazilian gold mines. Thanks to its gold veins, most of the country's richness came (or was taken) from there. Additionally, the state gained recognition for its exceptional football achievements.
