The New Jazz Festival.

In 2019, Mastercard hosted the first edition of the Mastercard Jazz, a free jazz festival at Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. Featuring both national and international acts, the aim was to bring together artists who have been renewing the musical genre. Over the course of two days, performances took place outdoors on the stage of the Ibirapuera Auditorium.

To promote the event, a digital and out-of-home (OOH) campaign was created, aiming to convey the concept of movement and versatility of the genre with the help of award-winning photographer Maurício Nahas' photos. 

"The promotion of Mastercard Jazz has a pioneering aspect in the form of Maurício Nahas' photos. In addition to showcasing the musical genre, the images are stunning and bring movement and a modern perspective to attract both traditional jazz enthusiasts and a new generation of fans who have recently discovered jazz through digital media," said Sarah Buchwitz, Vice President of Marketing and Communication for Mastercard Brazil and the Southern Cone.
